Leda Viñas Viejas is Bodegas Leda’s premium wine. A multi-terroir Tempranillo from century-old vines spread over 20 hectares in the incredible Douro Valley.
Organically grown, this Tempranillo is aged for 23 months in French and American oak barrels. It is an elegant, long and structured wine with a pleasant intense cherry red colour. Its aroma of ripe black fruit, sweet and balsamic spices, combined with toasted and nutty nuances, make it a wine of great complexity and consistency. Its powerful, sweet and fruity flavour is pleasant on the palate, leaving a delicious and elegant finish.
Leda Viñas Viejas is a wine that pairs perfectly with a good stew or local meat, such as lamb or suckling lamb.
